I can roll only a little bit.
like short term. like 2 rolls?
haha.
so that's somewhere I'd like to start with.
and also, how do you roll your rs when it's near the end of the word like fuerte or cerca?

you roll rs by putting the tip of your tongue on the roof of your mouth and blowing air.

I've been finding out linguistics for approximately four years now and feature studied English, Spanish, French, German, Esperanto, Mandarin Chinese, and Latin. I can pronounce each sound at the IPA chart EXCEPT for coronal trills. I've been studying Spanish seeing that I was once five, and I are living in southwest Florida. I have attempted for hours and hours, days and weeks, however the closest I can get is a unvoiced linguolabial trill (raspberry) and a palatal trill. I simply can get it coronal. : So I suppose your soreness. The well information is, there are a few local audio system of languages like Spanish that cannot articulate them both. Well, I feel that is not well information. But it suggests there might be extra to this than nurture. Personally, I simply use an alveolar faucet. I make it sub-apical in which there may be intended to be an alveolar trill, and I make it apical in other places. It's no longer ultimate, however it is bigger than making use of a uvular trill (up to I love it). Supposedly Lenin could not articulate alveolar trills both, so as a minimum you are in well corporation. :)

Roll your toungue upwards toward your palate, then make the sound for R, and it woudl go like errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Rolling of Rs in spanish is done for terminal Rs not much on the middle ones as in your examples, in the word "cerca" where pronouncing the R would go in conflict with pronouncing the "C" as "Th" to be followed by hard C.

Your tongue vibrates relaxedly in the air when you roll the R (sounds simple!). Our speech therapist was giving advice to Chinese friends (who have RReal difficulties with R).Say first d then l or repeat den,den den and go from one to other and then try to blow while you have your tongue in the same position and let it roll. You can ask a friend or a Hispanic acquaintance to show where there tongue is when they roll their r or a German if you need it for that or... Good luck -and a lot of practice (it often helps good luck!)

Yes, you can learn.
I couldn't do it until about 5 years ago-- and I am 39. When I took HS Spanish, I couldn't do it. It just took lots and lots of practice.
