They have a full schedule fitting in all the other people they've asked out too ( or maybe thats when their wife or gf goes out of town )

Have you been reading my journal? I wish I knew the answer to this. Me and this guy have been doing this dance since the holidays. He mentioned hooking me up with tickets to a ball game. About a month later he talks about it again only now - he thinks he's going to go to this game, too. So we went as friends to this game. After that, our friendship grew. there were all kinds of suggestions like "We'll need to go to that restaurant" -you get the idea. But he never asked. A few weeks ago, I told him I needed to talk with him and he jumped and asked me to dinner that night. But I had school and I couldn't get of of it. We're still trying to set something up (at least I think we are - sometimes I'm not so sure) but now he is swamped with stuff. Time will tell if my story has a happy ending, but I wouldn't let the fact that he waited so long change anything. I think he wants to take you out, just like my guy does, but sometimes they are shy, or scared or just plain busy. Give him a chance to make it right and best wishes to you!
