I attended the church for many years....but no longer do....I want to answer anyways.

The collection of short stories written by H.G. Wells. There is no other person I want to meet more in an afterlife, if there is one, than him.

The very recently published, 'TWO BIRDS ... ONE STONE!!" by Denis Towers, published by Xulon Press, and available through Xulon Press and amazon.com, among others; I got my copy through Xulon itself.

This book is absolutely brilliant.

I would say it is probably the greatest scientific discovery in history.
He has actually empirically proven and made a discovery that proves the Biblical Adam and Eve account.
That has to be a FIRST.
He also shows how it disproves evolution, and answers a heck of a lot of other age-old disputes as well.
It is a real revelation.

His discoveries are nothing short of Miraculous.
They certainly show that we are, indeed, in the very Last Days now, before the Lord's imminent return.

SORRY...
on Re-reading your question [as it seems a bit ambiguous], you may be asking:
What is your favourite NON-SPIRITUAL book??

Is that correct??

Well, that's a good question.

I would say, books that I like so much I read them more than once ... and in my whole lifetime [centuries now!], that would be less than a dozen.

I think I read 2 dog stories by Thomas C Hinckle 3 times each - one was simply called, "Tan" - that was possibly my favourite dog story; the other was called "Gray" ... during my teens, I loved those books.
My favourite classic would probably be "Tom Sawyer" ... and I also got well around the heavier going of "Oliver Twist", by Charles Dickens.

I also greatly liked the cowboy story, "Shane" ... i can't remember who wrote it, but they made a film ... but as you probably know, the films rarely do justice to the genius of great books.

In modern terms, I couldn't go past the 'Harry Potter" series - especially, the Chamber of Secrets.

I think she is just a true great genius - JK Rowling - but I dread to think what she is going to do in the last one coming up!!
I just have a feeling not everyone is going to be pleased with the finish!
