Hopefully his mansion in heaven will be several blocks away from mine.

As others said, Jeffrey Dahmer was murdered in prison with a wooden handle, either mop or plunger, don't remember right now. Anyway...many inmates get/find religion when incarcerated, most do it because it looks good on their records, or for special diet and priviliges. Like the one chick who answered, if I make to heaven I just hope his mansion is a few blocks away from mine. That was good one!

Oh, and I hope he really did find God. Unfortunately he didn't find God before he committed the atrocities he did. I guess God is good, because I, as a mere human, have a difficult time with people like the Dahmer's of the world just saying I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior and *poof!* all is okie dokie.

Considering that he's been dead for a number of years now, I don't exactly think he's in a position to do much of anything, one way or the other. But had he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior before his death (and I don't recall ever reading anything that suggested he did), he would have the same rights to Heaven as any other believer.

Why is it so hard for you to understand the concept that Christ both forgives sins and renews a person's conscience so that they are purified of their past evil deeds? If Moses and David could be forgiven of the murders that they committed and are now in Heaven, it's not much of a stretch to say that another repentant killer could also be there, too.

So, yes, if Dahmer had actually repented, accepted Christ's atoning sacrifice, and been saved, I would have no problem spending eternity with him. He would no longer be a serial killer, but my brother in Christ Jesus.

Edit:

I don't think I skirted the issue in that last paragraph.

But in case I didn't make it clear enough, the answer is yes, I would have no problem spending eternity with a former murderer who has repented and come to Christ. His sins have been forgiven, just as mine have. He is my brother in Christ --period, end of subject.

In Heaven, Christians might not even remeber what evil people have done to each other. If we do, Jeffery will be a different, changed man. We all are sinners.

I thought he was killed while in prison.
Actually, I expect to see several murderers in heaven, including David, Moses, Paul, and David Berkowitz.

Jeffrey Dahmer is dead. He was murdered in prison in 1994. (Though you are right that he did turn to God in prison.)

You know, donkey, I have to point out that humans are the only notoriously murderous mammals. They're also the only religious ones.

*aham*!

If it's true then it doesn't matter if I'm willing. Of course, what he will be like in heaven will be very different from what he was like here.
