Pizzas aren't square because if they were, they couldn't be cut into equal wedges. Even though pizza places seem to have idiots cutting their pizzas. I always end up with a few huge slices and a few slices that are about two bites worth. Stupid pizza places!

first pizzas were made by hand which made it easier to make round so its just tradition but some places o make square pizzas who knows maybe pizzas were square first

some pizzas are square. but to answer your question, round pizzas are easier to make, and square boxes are easier to manufacture, stack and assemble.
