UNLESS you really still want to be with the guy you are with, break it off. It sounds as though you feel a need to move on, but DON'T do it for a "crush"! Do it for you!
After you have broken up... if that is what you wish to do... then ask the other guy out... whats the worst that could happen? He says no and you find someone else.
There are no rules saying you have to date anyone... so if you are alone for a bit enjoy it! I am sure a guy will come along that you connect with.. and who knows.. it could lead into something really serious!
