Tomorow is my 42 birthday I am recently single. My kids are with their dad this weekend. I only go out when they are with him. The thing is I have to go out by myself. I don't mind being alone, just not all the time. All my friends are married. I feel like I am very attractive. Is it pathetic to go out and have a few drinks by myself? Especially on my birthday. Do men talk to woman who go out alone? Sometimes I feel like people are looking at me and thinking why is she alone? Is she desperate? I was thinking tomorow of going out for some drinks and then a movie. Do you think going out alone is pathetic? Or do you think it is fine? Would you go out alone? Even on your birthday?

I would think that it would be fun to have some company to go out with on your birthday, but I bet you could have a great time either way.
I would check out that new movie "Reign Over Me" it looks really good and might be a good one to check out.
I think men will talk to you, I would go to a bar that is a relatively quiet place though, so you (hopefully) don't have to worry about it getting rowdy (and hopefully no drunks hanging all over you, unless you find one you like of course).
I say go out, have a good night, make sure you take a cab home or you are in walking distance, tell the bartender it is your birthday and maybe get a few free drinks.

come on you should be able to find some friend or coworker to go out with. if not just do it be careful don't get to drunk and make a bad decision. ha ha. have fun
