im 12 years old, gonna be 13 in 2 days and i just got over anorexia. im average [as in weight] 5ft and 110lbs. im still not happy with myself tho and im afraid im going to back to anorexia again and i really dont want to. my goal is to be 80lbs and dont tell me thats too thin for a girl my height and age because i checked and i wont be underweight untill i get to around 77lbs. when i look in the mirror i see myself as fat and i dont want to have to see that anymore. i work out every night, i do sit ups, squats, lunges, and some other stuff. i dont really do cardio but i walk alot every day between school and home. i never use weights. i dont wanna just be healthy. i want to be thin.

im not exactly a pro when it comes to eating healthy either. i KNO that eating healthy will help me with my goal but i just cant do it. im trying my best not to eat all the junk im addicted to eating but its hard for me. i kno that i can eat what i want but in small portions. but i have a fast metabolism and i get hungry very often and i eat multiple times a day. i have a phobia of gaining weight and eating too much yet i do it anyway. plz plz help. i dont want to have to worry so much so close to my birthday

i never thought of being a model but i want to be an actress. its my dream and the first class i looked at they told me to lose some weight and come back. its all ive ever wanted and im willing to do whatever

ok fine 80lbs is too low. how about 85? and im a VERY picky eater. i dont like salads, fish, most chicken, steak, vegetables [other than peas and corn], fruits [other than apples and bananas] and a whole lot of other foods

Your metabolism is going to be fast due to your age. What I'd do start eating healthier like salads, and whole grain oats. The better you eat the better you'll look. Start with oatmeal in the morning, eat salads, fibers, brown rice, fish, and green beans.
I'd start doing cardio. Maybe a jog for 15-20 minutes a day. Play a sport.

I'm a medical student.... and let me tell you the medical truth:
IF you wanna loose weight and look better, you HAVE TO eat. You can eat as much as you want, but you have to eat healthy. Anorexia will give you diseases like Marasmus (calorie defieciency), and Kasiowori (can't spell it) which is a deficiency of proteins, and makes ur belly swell. You don't want that.....TRUST ME.

Ok, you are going to extrems and that is a bad thing to do you went all the way to super skinny to a bit bigger. Shoot for weighing no less then 90 lb or you will be back in the other extreme. Being too big is too bad and being too tiny is also bad im your age 5"3 and exactly 100 lb so im just right. And from 110 to 90 or 85 lb is a hudge difference focus on getting down to 105 lb and see how you feel, maybe you'll like how you look at that weight. But at 80 lb you'll be a bit on the thin side so dont go there. You have to stop eating junk food and eat healthy , if you just stop eating you'll gain all the weight back anyays and get a bigger belly so don't do it. And run or jog at least a mile a day to keep healthy. Dont be too hard on yourself appreciate what you do have and feel good in yourskin and love yourself the way you are now first.
p.s. I love all those foods you had listen if you want to loose a few you have to force yourself to love it, its better then forceing yourself to starve.

You will be underweight at 90 pounds not 77. I have been anorexic for 19 years. I have nothing in my life that I ever wanted to have. I have been hospitalized over a dozen times and I once spent 14 months (away from family) in residential treatment. Do not go back to being ill.

Eeks, stop! I'm 13 right now, and I'm 4'7". Let me tell you this, I'm 73 lbs and underweight. WAY underweight. You are NOT fat in any way, and I think you're lucky. It's not fun being this skinny, I'm trying to gain weight. You're 12, don't worry about it! Just get daily exercise and try to eat healthy and don't worry about your weight until later. You have more important things to worry about at your age.

first of all your not fat, thats perfect weight. second of all 80 lbs thats not very healthy and not normal, maybe you need to see a therapist. Im sure you look fine.

i think it would do you some good to see a therapist or someone to talk to. its okay to want to loose weight but you still need to make sure you maintain control and keep your weight at a healthy level.

do you want to become a model? is that why you want to be so skinny?
