On the little circle -do you mean it's painful to go, and it hurts coming out? That sounds like you have hemorrhoids, nothing too serious but it can be very painful and annoying! You can try some over the counter meds, they have creams for that, PreparationH is a well-known brand but there are others that are good too. However if it doesn't clear up soon when using this, or if I misunderstand your question and your 'circle' isn't you anus, then see a doctor!

These people could be overreacting, which I think is the case.
Most of the time blood in the stool is caused by skin tearing on the anus.
True, it can also be caused by an intestinal disease, yes, but you still need to talk to a doctor. You could develop a nasty little infection due to feces entering the blood stream. It's possible!
Get with your doctor!

There are several things that can cause blood in the stool, but you need to be checked out as soon as possible. Go wake your parents.

Definitely see a doctor...a gastroenterologist specializes in the GI tract. For temporary relief of discomfort until then, you could try some pure vitamin E oil (small bottle costs about $7) applied to the spot.
Be sure to drink enough fluids and eat enough fruits and vegetables (for fiber).

My Husband just went through this last month.
If it is very red it maybe a bloody hemorrhoids.
If dark dry blood it may be from further up the colon.
You may need to go in for a colonoscopy and have things check.

Blood in the stool from a gastrointestinal origin would most likely be black in color, but what you describe sounds like a lower GI problem such as hemorrhoids. As Jaime said, consult your doctor for a clear reason.
