Its actually safer than meeting them anywhere else - just remember that people sometimes lie - and you can't see if they really are who and what they say. Don't give out personal info (a cell phone number at most, since they can't usually do a reverse lookup on the number), and if you decide to meet someone in person, make sure friends know what's going on, who he is, where you're going, etc. Always meet in a public place, and always drive yourself there and home again. I met my wife online, so it's not as bad as some people think.

Try to stay with a reputable website. We used Match.com - they have different categories for people who want a relationship, and those who are just looking to make new friends. I assume the other companies in this field are all about equal, but I haven't actually tried any others.

Good luck!

You are worry way too much. There aren't that many stalkers online as a lot of people make it seem. There are more in real life then online. You just have to not tell like phone number & address like cuz there are scammers that will try to get you into trouble. There are more scammers then stalkers. Have fun & enjoy making new friends online. If you plan to ever met them in person do it in a public place.

confident, he's that and plenty extra. have you ever advised your mom that he's harassing you? I believe the others which you should stay removed from him, and he desires to discover somebody his very own age. that is not an insult to you in any respect, yet think of roughly it - why might a physically powerful (emotionally) 25-365 days previous guy no longer have associates/girlfriends closer to his very own age? that should be a huge clue that there is something incorrect with him.

As long as you don't give out personal info (your real name, town/city, phone number) you should be fine.
