I quit smoking 6 months ago. It is difficult but I take one day at a time.
Anyone that smokes knows it's just a matter of time when smoking will affect your health and that's what keeps me not smoking.
You'll live longer not smoking.
Good Luck and hang in there.

this is what worked for me you know smoking is killing your body so replace it with exercise.
when i needed a smoke i would go for a walk to relive the stress.i started walking a lot and after a few days i felt better about myself, next thing was i felt so good that i would start running just a little.what do you know after a few weeks i was jogging.i felt so good about what i was doing for my body that i started jogging 20 miles a week.i never had a problem with weight but after the first couple of months my body was rock hard and my friends and strangers would tell me i looked 10 to 15 years younger. all this because i quit smoking 1980
so you can do it and if for any reason you fall back thats o k just start over you will fill better about yourself because your treating your body with the respect it deserves

You lived without a cigarette before you started smoking. You can do it again. if and wen you choose to stop, you can do so in many ways. Find what works for you and try to stick with it. Cigarettes make your lungs black and it stinks as well...You can live without this monkey on your shoulder. make an extra effort to try and come up with ideas on how to stay away from cigarettes. Hang out with nonsmokers and remember how you felt before you smoked and focus on how good you will feel when you can get control of the nasty habit which wrecks havoc on skin and health..good Luck:-)

Suffer now..but the reward will great. Just think, now instead of throwing away 5 bucks a day for a pack of smokes, you can save up and buy that Harley you've had your eye on.

Get the patch. If you have insurance it will pay for it. If not, it's only about the same price as a carton of cigarettes.
