where can i buy microsoft word program?

i need microsoft word prgram. so where can i buy it? like what stores? or where can i download it? and is it expensive?

Future Shop, Best Buy have good deals - there's a nice pkg out there called the student version - contains Word, Excel and PowerPoint - about half the price of the other combinations.

You can buy Word 2007 at most office supply and electronic stores like Best buy, Office depot, Staple, Circuit City or online directly from Microsoft.

You can go to microsoft.com and look for the option to purchase it online. Also you can go to circuitcity, bestbuy, fry's, micro center, comp usa. Basically anywhere you can purchase computers there will be software. Microsoft word can be isn't that expensive, specially if you have some type of microsoft product already installed into your computer. If you do, you can upgrade to microsoft word at a cheaper price or upgrade to the microsoft office, which includes word, excel, powerpoint, etc...

Microsoft Word is part of Microsoft Office. Depending if you want or need the latest version (Office 2007) it can run a few bucks.($150 and up) You can get older versions(I use the '98 version) and save a lot of money. Here's a place that has older versions:

You can download it from the Microsoft website, or you can buy it at most major chain stores like Walmart & Target. Cheaper at the stores.

Go to this link. I prefer not to download. Aim for a CD with product key so you will be entitled to updates. This is for Word 2000 which I am using. Later versions are much more expensive and just add bells and whistles.
