Unfortunately you can't..If you don't take your animal to be checked you will know if they die...Then it is too late so go to the vet asap..

By checking the Website and looking at your pouch / can of food. Remember, dry food in not affected.

as a pet owner I am in the clear, however I wouldnt take chances unless of course you wanna count death as a symptom IF IN DOUBT GO SEE THE VET

check to see if your pet ate tainted food, if they did monitor them and see if thier behavior has changed - if it has call the vet

He/she will probably die, or get really sick. It was found to be rat poison.
