True love is above the mode of worship. Modes of worship are man made, hence there are different systems in different societies. But true love is some thing divine and universal which has the sanction of all religions.

Subtract the "love between two persons of opposite sex" and the world will continue spinning.
Try subtract God (absurd), and you will have nothing.

Two persons from different religions could marry and continue with their own mode of worship. But the bond of marriage is love for each other which is more important for the relationship to continue.

Mode of worship is not as important, so long as that worship is in your heart. God knows what you feel - I see no reason to formalize it with ritual.

Well it depends on which one you hold true to your heart the most, Love or God. In my opinion GOD should come second to none. But remember if you hold GOD above any and everything TRUE LOVE will be right behind him.
