They could either be used to protect you or kill you.

when are people going to realize that guns aren't a problem. they only become a problem when ignorant retards get a hold of them. i could think of alot of other things that are far more dangerous. like for instance, flying, driving, walking down dark alleys alone, sharing needles, unprotected sex, the list goes on. so, i guess what im sayin is that the world would be just as dangerous, because there are always going to be dangers everywhere...no one is safe. animals in the wild are in danger of being eaten, left out in the cold, going hungry and they lack guns!!! besides if we didn't have guns we would use other means. remember the native americans and their bow and arrows and the cavemen and the rocks that they used to hunt? hope this helps.

So how about knives, baseball bats, sharp sticks, broken glass, a pencil, a comb with a sharp tip at the end, and a nail file? It's not the gun that's the danger, it's the fool behind it that uses it to kill for no reason. Anything can be used for a weapon.

The world would be more dangerous....ask the people under Hitler's rule what happens when -their- guns were taken away..

The more importent question is: Would the world be more safer if everyone had a gun? Would people be robbed at gun point or have armed robberies, if the bad guys knew that they weren't the only ones packing heat?

I highly doubt it. If you got rid of guns, it would be something else, like crossbows, and so on. Furthermore, it's people who use weapon that kill other people, and most the weapons in murders are illegally obtained and unregistered. How often do you hear about an Olympic sports shooter killing someone with their registered gun or a hunter- vary rarely compared to people who steal guns and use them illegally.

I don't think so because even with out guns people find way to kill people. If someone has the gull to kill someone i doubt it matters if it with a gun or some other dangerous object. People are creative so they will just find other ways to kill.

If they didn't exist at all? Yes. But since they do exist, it would be dumb to outlaw them. If guns were outlawed, only outlaws would have guns.

I wish no weapons existed, but since they do I want the right to protect myself.

The world would be a lot safer if cars didn't exist. And if Iran, Syria and France did not exist. (I just threw France in for good measure...)

No.

Weapons have always only been as dangerous as their users!

If the guns did not exist, they would bash each other over the heads with boards :-)

If people truly want to inflict harm, they will.

It has been proven throughout the ages...

I dont think the world was less dangerous without guns. People just used other weapons. Fire, knives, etc.

i doubt it...

if guns didnt exist ppl would prolley be finding other ways to immediatly kill ppl.

besides the only thing good about guns is that they do kill ppl immediatly. It is quick and painless and i personally think that this wouldnt be a bad we to leave earth. Were all gonna die sum day and i think this way wouldnt be that bad.

Let me start by saying I was an infantry paratrooper who rated expert with numerous weapons. Guns are dangerous! Your gun is far more likely to kill you or a loved one than it is a criminal. Our constitution gived us the right to bear arms but I wish we had at least a mandatory safety couse first. And folks, you have to take it apart and clean it if you want it to fire reliably.
