I have searched and searched and can not finding anything on this. Hopefully someone can lead me in the right direction. Everytime I do a search for 'Beware of the 26' in Yahoo Q/A, it brings me to the Religion & Sprituality question but I see nothing relating to this phrase. Several nights ago my daughter was watching a sitcom and it broke for a commerical. All of a sudden the TV went snowy and the phrase "Beware of the 26" flashed 3 times with a strange voice saying this. Then it disapearred and regular commercials came on. Does anyone know what this was? It has my daughter freaked out. I am totally baffled. And I am not a nut case this is what my daughter told me tonight, so I am trying to find out what this was. Any ideas?

Your story really interested me, therefore, I am going to help you and your daughter the best I can.

I found a source that is quite odd. I will list it. Check it out and email me back. I'll help you as much as you wish. Things like this don't just happen for no reason.

my email is: mshill90@yahoo.com

I would suspect it's an advertisement for some "scare the people to death" program or movie.

More will be revealed about the nature of the program as the release date gets closer.

It's rubbish.

Perhaps you should ask the TV station or cable company. It may have been some kind of teaser or promo for an upcoming event.

It sounds like an ad. Advertisers often do annoying things to get your attention. Looks like they succeeded.
