shouldn't women be thanking men for sticking with them? I mean if Adam hadn't loved Eve enough to eat the fruit so that he wouldn't have to live without her? By a Christian viewpoint aren't women to blame for all the suffering that happens in this world?

What an interesting question! It makes you think, what would have happened if Adam had refused to eat the fruit? Would God have forced Eve out and let Adam stay? That wouldn't have worked at all. Would God have had to make Adam a new companion, while Eve labored in solitude outside? What if Eve were already pregnant? Would her children be half enraptured and half mired in original sin? Would there be two races of men--one still "pure" one sinful?

Nope, Eve never forced Adam to eat the fruit, he did it by his own will. And if he ate it b/c he loved her so much, then he wouldn't exactly expect anything in return....after all, he loves her!

"Women are to blame for all the suffering that happens in this world"??? Are you serious? I think men do A LOT more damage than women do.....but it also depends on the person.

Rethink this....thats my advice.

God bless.

When God created the world, He made Adam first and gave Adam the job of naming all the animals... He also told Adam the rules, no forbidden fruit. Adam was left "in charge" in some way. It was after God said "no fruit", did He create Eve. So Adam does bear some if not a greater responsibility for not saying no, especially since he had no problem chowing down when Eve gave him the fruit.

Actually God never told Eve not to eat from the tree in the midst of the garden. He specifically told Adam not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Adam must have told Eve because she clearly knew what God had said. Satan pulled the same old trick from his bag that he’s been performing from the beginning. Yea, hath God said? Lots of people fall for this one, not just Adam and Eve.

I sure do not blame Eve anyway. They were both totally set up. God knew full well they would eat.

Eve may have taken the first bite....however, Adam knowingly joined in - Adam started BLAME which is a huge problem in this world today. As soon as God came and asked them - Adam pointed out the "woman" took the first bite. People don't take enough responsiblity in this world for things that happen.

The old testament is full of just old story's about things so as to tell there children to go to sleep on.
what does it matter about who begot who are how long it took God to make Creation, are if there was an Adam and an eve?
what matters is accepting the holy ghost spirit of God into you and asking of it and listening for the answers and doing Gods will., because as Jesus said ,all that call on my name will Not be saved, only those who do my fathers will ,will make it to heaven
if we do not do Gods will, then we will be lost,
why do people always wish to ask mental, & stupid questions that don't matter at all spiritually.
Notice i didnt say YOU were mental are stupid .i said some people
Thats how a person says it without getting personal
I do wish you the best

We should be thanking Jesus that he has given us a way to avoid paying for the sin of both Adam and Eve. If you want to blame someone, blame the devil because he tempted her and she gave in then he proceeded to use her to cause Adam to join him in disobeying God's command. Then devil proceeded to cause them to blame each other. Its been a blame game ever since. Women suffer pain in childbirth because of this mistake. Men suffer..only if theyre married...just kidding...you married folks know what i'm talking about though ;)

And one day the devil and all who are on his side by disobedience will suffer for the suffering that earth has had to suffer. And this is all why Christ suffered (and gave his life) because one day all suffering will end and we wont have to suffer ever again.

So let us believe in Christ but lets not forget the words of the apostle Paul "For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ not only to believe in him but also to suffer for his sake" Phillipians 1:29

P.S. Another wise man said "women...cant live with them can live without them"

Praise God! Amen

Eve must have been the perfect woman, extremely lovely and just flawed enough to make her endearing.

who wouldn't stay with a woman like that, I know that I did.
