Anyone can convert to Catholicism.
There are millions of Asian Catholics.
If you are interested in joining or just learning more about the Catholic Church, contact your local parish and ask about information about their RCIA Inquiry group.
You can go and ask any questions you want.
This is the first step in RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) but you can stop at any time.
There is no obligation to become a Catholic.
With love and prayers in Christ.

Anyone can. There are things that must be done. (learning about the religion and deciding if you really want to do it)
Supertop....you may think about looking at the church today rather than what happened in the 1500s. The reasons why people left the church then are not usually the ones stated today. Have you studied the history....not through your religion but the actual historical reasons. I HAVE.

Do your research on Catholicism. If you think it is for you, then go for it. But if you are an open minded person about things like gay marriage and freedom of religion... 2 words for you. American Catholic. Best type of place for a catholic with an opened mind.

You should do a study of Christian history before becoming Catholic. Study the 1500's and read about why people left the Catholic church. Also read the book of Acts in the Bible to see what the original church was like. There are churches still in existence like that, but they don't have "Roman Catholic" on the sign. You can receive the experience Cornelius did in Acts 10.

Congratulations on your walk with God and Jesus. I'm Baptist and anyone can become Baptist, so I would assume its the same w/Catholicism. You say you're Asian, if you live here in the States, it shouldn't' be a problem finding a Catholic church. Good luck and God Bless
