ok some boy today told me i have wide hips. Nobody ever told me that before. He said your nice and skinny with wide hips. Is having wide hips bad?

Baby girl, it has worked for me for 20 years now. You will hear the phrase "child bearin' hips" too. There are men in this world who prefer women with real curves( like in the 50's) Consider this - is Marilyn Monroe a beautiful woman? She had real hips, now didn't she?

Definitely not bad! For women/girls it's always good to have nice hips! There's some gals out there that have more of a "boy-ish" figure (which they have a small hip structure compared to others). If I were you, I'd be happy to have "wide hips" - a lot of guys will find them very sexy!

It's not a bad thing depending on height and weight. Much of this answer depends on your age. You said a boy said this to you so that means you are young. I know a female whose measurements are 22 in the waist and 40 in the hips and she is 5'2". That is a beautiful thing. It's like Sir Mix-a-Lot said in "Baby Got Back", "36-24-36, only if she is 5'3"". It sounds like he was complimentary of your shape.

He's probably complementing on your hour-glass figure. Or some people have wider hip bones which is genetic, look at your moms hips or those on your dad's side, whoever you take after the most. Either way it sounds more like a complement than anything.

you should post a photo of your hips and let the community determine if they are skinny, average or wide. I would have to say (since Ive seen your hips and dreamt of them) they are PERFECT.

depends really, if its just a little bit wider than body portion then that shudnt matter, it could have been the way u dressed and made you look lke u have wide hips, or maybe that guy needed glasses, it doesnt neccesary has to be ur fault

I've traveled to different countries and in some countries if a woman has big hips, it is taken as a sign that she is looking for someone to have a family with....
