I am retired from the military, very straight, independent woman, home-owner, currently a college student, excellent lover and loyal friend... also I am not bad looking, I get plenty of attention, and I am in good shape. I have been told that this is intimidating to a man, and I have always said that if a man is intimidated by my success that I need one who is not... but I am 40 now and beginning to wonder! Please give me a little insight, thanks!

You're doing great,girl. As trite as it sounds, there is the right guy out there. My hubby loves my independence and stability. I even earn more than him and it dosen't intimidate him one bit. We married when I was 37.....still happily married 20 years later.

For some men, yes, but not for others. A lot of men find an independent woman sexy. But don't even think about sacrificing or downplaying your success for a man. You worked hard to get where you are. Why not enjoy it?

just so that you are humbled by your success but not forget the hard work in which it took to get there ,but on the other hand just try not to use it as a manipulative tool and don't
bring an attitude.And try to seek those that are similar to that
of your own successes and ambitions and you should be o.k.

Well sister...If he is turned off or intimidated about who we are, we wouldn't be interested in that type of man anyway..right? :)
I haven't found one tough enough to take me yet...lol
There might be a man who comes along and likes and appreciates lil independent cusses like us. :)
