I am single with no kids and there are times I wish there was someone in my life for a variety of reasons. I am going to guess you have support from your family to help out with your children. You want to have an adult conversation occasionally and depending on the age of your children you probably know the Spongebob Squarepants theme song by heart. We men act up occasionally, but we can be good company. Sounds like you would like to have some company every now and then. A fresh new relationship may put some pep in your step. Just a theory.

It is hard to raise 2 kids on your own. You should be proud of yourself for being able to do it on your own. If you are feeling lonely, then lean on your friends and family. Get a babysitter and see a movie, go on a date, and have a little fun. You need to have fun and be responsible for your sake and your kids. If you continue to feel sad, then you may be depressed. If it continues, then see your medical doctor and let them know how you are feeling. An anti-depressant may be helpful until you get back on your feet. I have been there and you have to find the happiness for yourself. Everything will fall into place eventually.

Even strong, independent women, who don't need a man to take care of them, can still feel an empty void in their bed at night. Blame it on those pesky primitave hormones that still haven't caught up to modern womens lives.
