To all the non believers, stop and think about it for one second......

Jesus ........crucified
Peter ........crucified
Paul...........crucified
10 disciples tortured and/or crucified.

What human would take such torturous abuse in order to protect a lie. Do you honestly believe anyone would?

Now go to the flip side, if these eyewitnesses (dicsiples) really and truly witnessed The Son of Man, perform miracles, witness his resurrection, and truly believe he was from Heaven, would they have the least bit of hesistation to die?

What makes more sense, think about it.

These people didnt just believe they walked , lived, and witnessed many things Jesus did. They were there with him, to see that these so called claims were indeed true.

JP
David Koresh followers werent willingly tortured. Most of this disciple could have stopped the torturing , just by renouncing , that Jesus was the son of God, including Jesus himself.

Student....
I do go to church on Sundays.
With so much stuff that is written or discussed out there, it;s time for a Christian to stand up and deliver the truth. That is our duty, if indeed we truly are believers.

To people question the death's heres some info you can research it.....
"Peter was crucified upside down in the courtyard just to the left of St Peter’s Basilica (in the courtyard behind the arch where the Swiss Guards stand on duty) and Paul was beheaded in a place between Rome and the sea, now called Tre Fontane (Italian for three fountains after the legend that the three springs in the spot mark the three places where Paul’s head bounced after being beheaded). People won't die to protect a lie. They won't even go to prison to protect a lie. That's how crimes get solved. Threaten the co-conspirators with prison, and if they're friend is guilty, they'll sing.

First of all, if it was a lie they may not have known it. If it was a lie, then they would not have believed in god, and therefore would not have believed in an after life. This would have led them to want to be remembered since they would become nothing after death, leading to a long skit ending with their deaths. Another reason is they may have wanted to do all mankind a favor and give them hope- the exact reason religion exists. As for the miracles, exaggeration and time can do wonders. And they definitely would have thought the whole thing through and killed all doubt if they were willing to give up their life- thus no hesitation.

Not only they gave up their lives for this "lie" but also hundreds and thousands and more throughout the generations have continued to do so and still are doing so in this generation. Rachel Scott of Columbine, for example is another person who died for the sake of the "lie". Why are they so certain that it is worth dying for unless they know without doubt that it is not a lie but Truth. The same truth that has survived all levels of attempts to destroy it. The Truth is Light and the darkness can't overcome it.

Crucifixion was common on the epoch of Jesus.
Many people die on the cross for different reasons.
Do you think this tortures are worst than the ones from the Middle Ages Religious world?

Okay, first, I know with 110% certainty that isn't a lie.
Second, I would gladly die to protect the truth.
Third, the only reason the disciples died where because they were arrested by blasphemers for preaching the word.
and Last, please stop trying to push away people from the Christian faith and go to church every once in a while.

before u can say that Jesus was crucified.. proof it. second. no body says that Jesus brought a lie.. but they believe that the message he brought was corrupted and changed but people. isn't Fanny that the bible was kept only in the Churches.. regular people didn't have access to it..so if the priests changed it . no body will know... because of that, many changes and contradiction in it .. there were many version of it.. the churches start arguing who right or wrong.then they decided to have meeting to choose what seem right( priest that only one that have access to it is choosing what is right, weren't that one who changed.) it's may seem stupid .. but if u read the history u will see that what happened..
Paul.. according to the bible he used his roman citizen to avoid the dead..and there no were in the bible where it confirm his dead.( what's a hypocrite was he.. making big deal about his own be live which contradict Jesus teaching. and when it come to standing for it.. he used he citizen to avoid it)
peter his was a great apostle. he believed in what Jesus brought . and he died for his believes.

Good One!! But U know what one unbeliever might say?
"Well, Muslims Blow themselves up all the time"
Then I would say
"Thats a sin, death afflicted by self" "the Bible doesnt preach to kill, we are all about love"
And if they'll die for something based on peace, which wont happen... then kudos!! But would that ever happen?

Ps : Im On ur side if u didnt notice ...lol

There is two options to this question:

1. The men were crazie

2. The men were telling the truth

And from the speach that the men gave and all according to the Bible, I do not believe the men were crazie, do u?

And some of them were killed in some pretty grisly ways: Thrown off cliffs, sawed into pieces, boiled to death...ewww! No lie is worth that...but then again, it wasn't a lie.

Paul was beheaded, though.

Jesus came to save all who will believe. The second one died the rest would have ran-except they saw the miracles-even His opponents told Him not to heal on the Sabbath SEE THIS-they knew He could heal-they saw and did not believe.Oh please except Jesus tonight,
