It depends on the woman, if the hymen is very thick it can be painful. I also know of women who said it hurt a little but not much, as for me I felt considerable pain, and bled for all of the next day. I tolerate pain well, I had 2 c-sections and didn't use any pain medicine after wards.

Generally speaking, your muscles may not be used to the intrusion upon penetration so it may hurt just a little bit while your muscles relax. My advice to you is to take a deep breath, relax and enjoy!

I wouldn't call it pain as much as it was discomfort. It may depend on how nervous you are. I hope you all make it special because you will never forget it.

it can be a little uncomfortable, but if you use proper lubrication and take it slow, you should be fine. i wouldn't call it PAINFUL. he needs to be aware that you are a virgin so that he doesn't take it too fast and make you think negatively about sex in the future.
BUT USE PROTECTION!!!!!!!!
