I was cited for a parking violation but the citation didnt list when my registratiion expires. Is it true that if there is a mistake on the ticket, I don't have to pay the citation fee? Also i was looking for an example of what a rigtful filled ticket should look like? My ticket was hand written. The ticket was not given to me it was on the car when i came back.

That is not a mistake.
On a parking ticket they don't have to list when your registration expires or anything about your driver's license or insurance. It's just about your vehicle and where it was parked and what the non-moving violation was.
All parking tickets and moving violation tickets are hand written, since each one is unique. And most tickets are placed on the windshield, because cops won't wait for you to show up to hand deliver a ticket.
Good luck.

Yes you still have to pay it unless you contest the ticket at the police station that issued the cite, Now, when a ticket is written, a copy goes into the watch commanders in box, he checks it over and if all is well it goes to the clerks desk for input into the computer,
Now if their is a mistake on the ticket, or a space is left blank when it should not be, as was your license expiration date, the watch commander will give the issuing officer the ticket back and the officer will have to write a correction notice, the corrected notice is then mailed to your house, and a copy is sent to the courts and the last copy is held at the police station. again you have the option to fight it at the station level,

If the officer had written in the wrong car or the wrong tag number or anything that would make a judge wonder if it was in fact your vehicle, then you could fight it and might even have a chance of winning. But just failing to put the expiration date of your registration does not qualify.

Pay the ticket and don't worry about it. I have received a couple of parking tickets in my 47 years but I have always thought in advance" I might get a ticket for parking here. Will it be worth it?" If the answer is no then I move my car.

A mistake such as that is not instrumental in defending yourself against the ticket. If the ticket contained an error in the plate number, the wrong date and time or the wrong location, you may have had a case to dispute the ticket.
I would never recommend you merely not pay a ticket because you believe it improperly issued. The correct avenue to pursue would be to request a hearing to contest the ticket.

first tell how us the officer would get your registration when most people keep that info in the car ) you expect the officer to break
into to get? (its not need for a parking violation
and you are lucky you were not in a tow-away zone
and all parking tickets ARE left on the windshield
did you think the officer would wait for you till you returned?

The ticket WILL be hand written and WILL be placed on your car. You STILL have to pay it.

Yes, you are still going to have to pay for it. And the ticket is supposed to be hand written because the police made it or the ticket might be a fake.

If you parked Illegally, did not look at th street signs, it doesn't matter if it's on polkadotted paper, the violation still exists, therefore it must be paid. Unless you want a pretty little boot in your car and eventually towed.

You absolutely have to pay the ticket. And hurry before your driver's license gets suspended.
