Ever since i purchased my olympus camera in late january the problem i'm having is with the batteries. I can't seem to find the batteries that are right for it. I would put in a pair of batteries and in a few minutes it would be finished; i even puchase olympus batteries online but when i put them in the response that i got was that it was empty what must i do?

take it to your nearest camera shop ( specializes in only cameras) tells them your problem let them check it out... if all else fails take it back to the place you got it or call the company (Olympus) direct....

Go to the setup menu and change the batt type from alkaline the nickle metal hydride NiMeHy, if that;'s what they are. NiMeHhy run at 1.2 volts, so if your camera is set at alkalines which run at 1.5 volts, it thinks the batts are dead..

I think something is wrong with your camera...maybe you should have that checked out before you buy more batteries.
