I'm travelling to NYC the first week of July. Should I get my ticket now (The cheapest one I found was $428) or should I wait to see if I can get a better deal?

I'm just worried if I wait I won't be able to get good times and the correct days and such...

What do you think?

thanks so much

Prices tend to go up however you might want to wait a while to see. The longer you wait the harder is is to get a good deal. Sometimes they do have last minute deals.

where you flying from, is it return. do you think its worth waiting , try this! book the same destination see if its cheaper for next week. if it is wait one week before you go it should be the same price, as airlines have to put bottoms on seats.
and usually flights are the same days and times.
(for instance)the flight to luxor from manchester has been the same for 3 years, only the flight number is different.

did you try jet blue they have a flight for 99.00 from california and wherever you are may be cheaper. even if you have to go to another airport from where you live it may be cheaper, also try some of the travel sites online, i,e, cheap tickets
