We as muslims don't believe that we're God's chosen people, but we strongly believe that we are on the religion of truth that was sent to us with prophet Muhammad...
We believe in all prophets, Jesus, Moses, Noah, Johan, David, ...., Adam as they are all the messangers of God...
Bhuda, FYI, was a philosopher, he was a normal man called Gautam... After his death, his followers made him as God, but he never called himself that...
I hope this makes it a bit clear to you about Muslims believes...
Thanks for asking...

Its an imaginary thing.
All religons profess that "God" poped down from Heaven and gave the command to write some kind of a book or give a directive.
Who would listen if the religious leaders said the word came directly from a humans head. NOBODY AND THERE WOULDNT BE A RELIGION.
So they scare people into thinking God poped out of the sky and wrote all those words and commands so that the religious leaders could control the ignorant masses.
Most educated people I know are Agnostics, they dont believe these things anymore and they dont want Religion to go on destroying their families enjoyment of life either. Muslems, Catholics, and Menonites, I know a lot of them that feel this way. Many people have literally been destroyed mentally by belief of these so called teachers. Time for the nonsense to stop. Its something from the ancient past that is plain silly.

Muslims believe that are people are initially born muslim. That people change after that to other religions. Thats why when a person becomes muslim it is said that they reverted not converted. It doesn't take long for a person to become muslim anyone could do it within minutes, because all you have to do is declare your faith in 1 god. They don't feel that they are the chosen people but they are the people following the chosen path.

Muslims made the Qur'an to fit their own agenda. They do not accept the gift of salvation from Jesus because they do not believe He is God.
Buddha's teachings keep you far from God. It denies God. On superficial "feel good" level Buddha's and Jesus' teachings agree, very superficial. Jesus is the way. And I follow Him. : )
