I like mine simmered with saurkraut and served up with taters
It is good on the grill for a sandwich with lots of onions and peppers
its good fried with sliced potatos and onions
I think it goes well with eggs.

Do you mean the sausage, Polish or Italian kielbasa? You or your wife can cook it in a skillet (with a lid) and some water 'till cooked well through. Add some barbecue sauce after draining the water off. Takes about 15 to 20 minutes on the top of the stove--'till no longer pink inside. Some people saute onions with the sausage. Just keep in mind that sausage will splatter a lot while cooking and piercing the casing with a fork will help to keep the casing intact and keep the sausage from curling.

Kielbasa, or a Polish smoked sausage, can be:
- sliced and pan-fried
- heated by boiling and then sliced or cut into chunks to serve
(do poke the skin to prevent it from bursting)
- is often served with cabbage or sauerkraut (but not necessarily)
