I have this bowl of a couple balls of mozarella cheese in my fridge I forgot I had bought. The date on the bowl says Feruray 5th. The balls of cheese are preserved in salt water. Can I still cut them up with some tomatoes and safely eat them or are they bad by now?

If they don't have any mold on them, and it still looks like mozzarella cheese....and you're really too lazy/cheap to go to the store and buy some more...Good Luck, but I'd hate to know how old the Tomatos are.

When in doubt throw it out, and February 5th was over a month ago. No one likes food poisoning, next time pop them in the freezer and take them out when you know you are going to eat them.
