Hotels usually have a policy that no caterer can deliver food to sleeping rooms or meeting rooms. This is to avoid any confusion with the other guests. Imagine that you are paying $40 per person for a heavy appetizer reception and you see a caterer pull up with trays of food....you would assume the food is not being made by the hotel at all. That would not be the case but the assumption. You need to call the hotel and ask if you can bring in catered food to your hotel room. They will not allow you to bring food into a meeting room unless it is a Hospitality Suite. Check with the front desk. It is usually allowed as long as you bring it in yourself or have a friend bring it in. The caterer CANNOT deliver it in their van.

You need to check with the hotel managers. Sometimes, they won't allow outside caterers. This is especially true if the hotel offers a comparable service.

Some hotels have policy against bringing in outside food and beverage. Generally when they sell alcohol and meals through their restaurant and / or room service, they would prefer you purchase it from them. Call the hotel you are inquiring about, and ask them what their policy is. ;-)

Sure. The house would rather bring in their own, but if you really have a question, ask the concierge.
