A long time ago, in a country not too far away, cats were once worshiped as gods. This spoiled cats for the rest of humanity til the end of time--there are only a few things they will lend themselves to because of their dignity and superiority.
Therefore, they are called woofers after the lowliest of all life forms (dogs drool and cats rule) and tweeters after the tastier life forms.
