I usually don't butt in no one's relationship...but I'm afraid he's gonna get hurt. He's 19, and she's 24. Has two kids, but her ex-boyfriend took them away from her. She's a golddigger. She rather live off men, and her parents. She sleeps around. She starts trouble, because she has back-up from her brothers, and the friends she hang with are some jealous girls. They started a crazy rumor about my cousin all because they have a crush on him, and he's not with them. petty stuff. He had the nerve to bring her in the house, and she totally disrespected me. I cussed her out like crazy, and he didn't try to stop me. My uncle & aunt raised him better than that, so I don't understand what it is with him dating someone like that. Should I just sit back, and watch him get hurt or try to get them to break up?

I know that your cousin, but he has to find out for himself about her. That's what dating is all about, right? Getting to know each other. He probably has a good reason to date her, or maybe he likes the wild girls! You never know. You could never tell someone how much of a bad influence their peers are. They won't listen. When something happens, then he'll find out her true colors. Just be there for him.

How well do you know this girl and how much of what has been going on have you witnessed first hand? I agree with the other poster, he might be with her for reasons you don't know about.
You can give him advice but I've seen people who even are fully aware they are in a bad relationship but won't leave. He has to make the decision. Just support him as a cousin.

The only way he's going to learn to look for good relationships is to suffer bad relationships. Too bad she looks like someone who gets pregnant out of wedlock so easily.
Just try to tell your cousin to use good protection since he's in a sexual relationship. Would she still hang out with him and sleep with him if he had a vasectomy? I know it sounds drastic but I bet she'd drop him and that would be the end of that relationship (he could have the vasectomy reversed).
He's got to have a bad relationship to learn to stay away from bad relationships but it's too bad babies get born in them.
You have to let him get hurt. If you try to break them up, he's going to roll right back to her like a yo-yo because it was all your fault!

Well, it's normal to feel that sometimes. It just shows that you want to best for your cousin.. but don't you think he is already old enough to find things out for himself? sweetie, there are times that we can't do anything about a situation.. but then again, if you can see that your cousin really loves her, as long as he is happy, then be happy for him too. But if that "golddigger" breaks his heart then thats another story:)

He's 19yo, he's a man. He needs to figure it out for himself. You shouldn't worry yourself with his problems. He should be able to see her for what she is. Maybe he has a reason for being with her that you don't know about.
