THe English People do not support the Iraq war. They are mad that we shot an English soldier by accident and refuse to allow the ENglish to complete their investigation in this matter. Several days ago,on the BBC, John Bolton., former UN ambassador, insulted the English people , by insinuating they did not truely support democracy, due to their Monarchy. The only thing I can see going for the English?american alliance, is the Iranian capturing the ENglish in the Persian gulf. Will the English begin distancing themselves from America like the French did?

Absolutely. F the French. If nothing else, both Americans and the British will ALWAYS agree on that.

If you ask the Americans, the answer most likely will be "yes" since there is a great love and admiration for the English in the U.S., and many look at the English as being our "forefathers" so to speak. Our governmental history began with the English, so to speak. Many of our towns, and even states on the upper East Coast are named after something or someone originally from Britain. Much of our early culture, our government, even our everyday happenings within the small communities which made up New England, of course was derived from England. It is a sense of pride for many Americans

If you ask the English, the answer most likely will be "no" as many English are starting to have a bitter taste in their mouth for most things American, and feel that their government is nothing more than a lap dog to the American government. I feel that they would rather break away and be on their own. Most English feel that the alliance is completely one-sided, that the U.S. doesn't care or listen to them, that we're arrogant and ignorant, and given the standing of the U.S. in the international community nowadays, there's no time like the present to discontinue the Alliance.

Yes, and you shouldn't be using the French as any examle, unless of course you're talking about wars lost.

Keep in mind that the British gave some of the later found faulty information that the vote to go to war was based on. American's are also not happy that coalition forces were fired upon, as well a friendly fire upon ourselves (Pat Tillman comes to mind). I saw on the news earlier this week, Queen Elizabeth honored a US Marine for his part in running security on a British convoy.

Even with the many views of how "wrong" or "bad" this war is, it's not something that's going to stop either the US or Britain from having eachother's backs if something sparks up.

Apparently John Bolton has his wires crossed as I don't know of anyone who thinks the Queen actually rules your country, I assume the majority of Americans recognize Parliment as your legislative base.

Hey do you still want to know about the crooked Russian Jews?

"...Jerusalem----April 2.....The American Jewish Congress today congratulated Paul Wolfowitz on his election as the president of the World Bank.

In Israel, The Jerusalem Post had selected Paul Wolfowitz as its Man of the Year for 2002. The Post stated: "On September 15, 2001, at a meeting in Camp David, Wolfowitz advised President George W. Bush to skip Kabul and train American guns on Baghdad. In March 2003, he got his wish.

"When President Bush says, "America will not permit the world's most dangerous regimes to threaten us with the world's most destructive weapons" -- that's Wolfowitz talking. When the president calls for "a new Arab charter that champions internal reform, greater political participation, economic openness and free trade" -- that's Wolfowitz's talking, too.

Israel has long waited for an administration that understands ..."

One may or may not like you. But if you both have a common cause or enemy to fight, you are most likely to be shrewd enough to get together to thwart the common enemy or danger. Alliances are not nessarily bulit on love, affection or fondness: alliances are for mutual advantage. So English and American Alliance will last whther the British like Americans or not. In fact, British like the Frech seldom liked people of other countries and treated them as equal or superior.
