when the police are at the crime seen with the guy who was chained up and then blown up, why did the police officer steal the metal ring and put it in his pocket? i never saw this get resolved

that would be a crime scene not a crime seen. Anyway he stole the metal ring because that is what the director told him to do. As you may not realize movies are not real life but just actors doing what the director tells them to do. or something like that.
Oh yeah - if you ask a question in the jokes section you gotta expect a joke answer.

Maybe he's the person who gave all the police info to jigsaw and amanda in saw 2. i mean, how else did jigsaw know about det. matthews framing people and getting all the people's info.
