You can get "starter kits" from many manufacturer's. My personal favorite is Grumbacher's Max water soluble oil paints. They clean up with soap and water and you can thin the paint with water thus avoiding the mineral solvents that stink and endanger your health. Whatever you choose you can't find cheaper than Jerry's.
