my ex girlfriend of two and a half years is moving out tommorrow and she says if i want her to have the feelings of love toward me i need to change and she wants me to try to be her friend right now. i love her with all my heart and was planning to propose to her 1 month ago. how can i be her friend and nuture our relationship back to love without being pushy? she is saying that i am only telling her i love her now because she is not mine, that is not true i just got caught up with work and life that i forgot her needs. what can i do

also she said she emailed me saying the problems but i did not read in between the lines and i also work night crew so i guess that might have something to do with it.

Well you need to tell her that you got all caught up with work & forgot her needs.

Let her move out & then try to date her.

It sounds like you both need some space & to be honest, did you notice a problem before or after she announced she was moving out? I'm not attacking you but seriously?

Ask her to attend councelling with you or at least let her know that you are planning to attend councelling on your own with or without her.

if u really love her then u will no what 2 do listen 2 your heart and tell her u got caught up with work and life and u can fore fill her needs and she probably needs space

show her everyday that she comes first and never put her second again. She is hurtting right now and won't jump right back into a relationship with you. If you love her as much as you say then show her.

wow big situation,ummm...lemme think....i think you should act completely like a friend to her and nothing more and if she wants take it further later plaay a little hard to get.I hate saying this but maybe you should go out with someone else for a while to make her jelous.It MAY work.

Let her realize that. It is hard to get back together and make things work. But that is just my experience. You never know what will happen.
