This really depends on how old the child is.....You might want to cut back on liquids at night if it is a toddler, older then that, sometimes older kids cant help it. Search the net under bedwetting....

how old is she? try goodnites. they will save both of you from a lot of stress. lots of kids wet the bed. it is a verry common problem.
some doctors give out different types of medication...
but DO NOT PUT HER ON DDAVP OR ANY KIND OF PILL, OR NASAL SPRAY!! I had to go to the hospital for 2 days because of dehydration when I was on some of the bed wetting medications. also you can try waking her up before you go to bed, but don't get her up 2-3 times a night. this will cause her to loose much needed sleep and will cause you to loose much needed sleep. limiting drinks goes back to the dehydration problem. if you limit them to much you will have more problems. and DO NOT SPANK HIM, OR SPREAD THIS AROUND HER SCHOOL. She CANNOT HELP IT!
I can also say that withholding drinks, waking up in the night, medication, and the whole list of crazy things that people on this site suggest do not work. medication for bed wetting has some nasty side effects that are worse than the bed wetting (IE. vomiting, dehydration, ect...) and when you wake them up in the night they only loose sleep which makes them do worse in school, and sometimes makes the bed wetting worse. you can try counseling, but that has a very low rate of sucess.
what I have found to be the best solution is to wear goodnites to bed. these keep the mess down and are a very good way to handle the problem. give her time, and he will out grow it. ether she will get used to the stress and it will go away, or the stress will go away and the wetting with it. she will out grow it one way or another.

Wait it out. Speak to a doctor. If the kid wets her bed, she's doing it in her sleep. She doesn't mean to and would stop if she could control it. Don't punish her for it because it would be like punishing her for having brown eyes or blonde hair. She really can't help it.

My daughter was fully potty trained night and day by the time she was 20 months. Heres the best advice my mom gave me.....When they wet there bed make them get up and take a bath and help you change the sheets they will hate it just as much as you and stop real quick it took my lil one 2 times and never again! Good Luck it's hard but it's the weekend so this is the best time to start!

make sure she doesnt drink anything within a few hours of her going to sleep make her go to the bathroom before bed and put down something on the bed so if she wets then u can just take it off dont worry this happens to most children in time she'll naturally grow out of it anyway

Those big kid over night pants are wonderful. Some kids just don't have a bladder well enough developed for it to send the sgnal for a child to wake up cause they need to go to the bathroom. All you can do is wait and praise her when she does wake up dry.

How old is she? Please don't make a big deal out of it.
If she's 12 or older, then she needs a doctor's help. But
NO MEDS that lessen need to urinate--not good. I would say
the pull ups is the best answer, or make her go pee just before
bedtime and maybe about 11 PM. Restrict water after 6 PM..

First of al, buy one of those blanket type things to go under her sheets.
It keeps the matress from staining.
Mabey buy her diapers depending on how old she is. Or just make a rule, she can not drink anything 2 hours before she goes to bed.
She should always go to the bathroom before she goes nightynight too.
I hope l helped.

Patience,no humiliation OK? She go to bed before you? Wake her up before ya go to bed and take her to potty. Plastic under the sheets and lay out some clean "jammies" for her to put on if she wakes up wet and another place for her to go back to sleep

It depends on her age. If she's under 5 throw a pull up on her. If she is over 5 it may be a medical problem and she needs to see the doctor.
