One of my good friends recently asked me to come with her to look for a prom dress. The question I'm asking here is, why would she ask me to help her look for a prom dress..? The only reason I can think of is for a male opinion. Thanks !

Yeah, I concur. She wants to know what we find as "hot". But for God's sake, pick something she looks GOOD in and not something that makes her look slutty. AND BE HONEST!!!!

male opinion can come very handy when picking clothes. but i've never done that. i hope you are not giving off signals of being gay. if you're gay, go shopping! if not, hm... perhaps you are her only friend? im trying to rule out a possible attraction because a girl would want to surprise her crush when it comes to looking good and not drag him during the process... hm...

she probably likes you. that could be her way of saying she wants you to be her date for prom now it's up to you to make the final move. i'm quite sure if you ask her she wouldn't hesitate to say yes.
