I have been with my current boyfriend since I was 15 and he was 14. After a year of trying to get with him he finally decided to make it and "official" relationship. I'm currently 19 and he is 18 and we've grown up together and built our lives around each other. I feel as though I can't be by myself at times but when I am with him I just want to yell at him and tell him whats wrong with our relation ship.

-He doesn't treat me like a women should be treated
-He doesn't have a job
-Never wants to hold hands or Kiss in public
-Has hit me only because I ' hit ' him first

I just dont feel like he wants to be with me anymore and its tearing me apart. I wish I could turn back time to when we first got together so i would know not to get this attached.

I'm on depression medication because of him now ..Please ANYONE! help me.. I dont think I can do this..

:(

Being alone is not fun especially when you have spent so many years with one person, but it sounds to me that you two have grown apart and are making each other miserable. The best thing to do is go your separate ways. It's not easy, but you will become stronger and I'm sure you will find someone else better suited for you who will make you much happier than you are right now. The hardest thing is letting go.

Yes you can because you must. This is not a good relationship for you. You know it, too. Sometimes you have to take control of your heart when it is leading you astray. It may be no consolation now, but someday you are going to be be glad you suffered the heartache of letting him go. Don't wish you could go back in time. Look ahead to you future because there is a much better relationship waiting for you if you treat yourself to some dignity and self respect now.

The best advice I can give you, is to sit down with him and tell him how you feel. If you don't think you can get the words out. Then write what you want to say down on paper. Sit down with him and ask him to read the entire letter, before saying anything. If he tells you he feels that he doesn't want to be with you than be the bigger person and let him go. If he's willing to change and your willing to give him that chance, then go for it. If you don't see any change, or he changes and then changes back to the way he was before. DUMP HIM!!! You can do much better than that. Your still young, be real to your heart!!! As far as hitting goes. Know one has the right to put their hands on another person, and a man has no right to ever put his hands on a female, unless she's trying to kill him!

This sounds so much like my relationship, I had a while back. The only thing you can do is split up with him and try to make it a clean break. Don't see him for at least a month because getting back together and breaking up over and over is not healthy.

Good luck

be brave and ask him do u want tis relationship or not because your not showing as if u want this and ask him if he is ashame of kissing u or holding hands with u in public question him find the TRUTH! p.s. any boy that hits u is not the boy for u,unless u want him to abuse u to sexually abuse u to rape and then to death it always happens so unless u want this i suggesst u think long and hard about if u wannt abusement that may end-up to death and if u want some1 thats scared to say this is mt girlfriend and i can kiss her

Focus on something besides yourself. Volunteer at your local animal shelter, walk a dog or work at an Aids Hospice house. You will feel better about yourself if you are doing great things to help someone else.
