it varies from place to place, as every country and state has different laws.
Most places you need to be 18. Some will allow things like navel or eyebrow piericngs at 16 without a parent, other places require parental permission for anyone under 18. The only thing that is the same everywhere is that you must be 18 for genital and female nipple piercings.
Your best bet is to call a local studio and ask them. (and don't go to a place that will break the law and pierce you underage, if they break that law, what other things do they choose to ignore)

In most states its 16 with a parents permission and 18 without. I don't think there are many states that will allow any sort of piercing under 16.

If you're at a place that will let you get a piercing when you're under 18 without the permission of a parent or guardian - you probably don't want them to be piercing you.

It feels like your daughter isn't unhappy approximately having had it achieved. purely purely be sure you're actively looking after/cleansing her new piercings, because of the fact there is no way that a 5 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous can proper look after them. If the soreness is so undesirable that she will't sleep, supply her some young toddlers' soreness reliever to help. i haven't any concern with permitting a baby to have her ears pierced as quickly as she's sufficiently previous to ask for them. that is not as in case you had it achieved while she replaced right into a infant and gave her no selection interior the priority. My mom made me wait till i replaced into 12 to have my ears pierced - I had needed them on account that kindergarten, yet she needed me to be a undeniable age till now I had them achieved. I easily have continuously wanted that i might have been allowed to have them quicker, whether it for sure does not count anymore.

In the US, you have to be 18 to go alone.
It depends on the shop if they'll pierce you under 18 with parental consent.
Some places make you be 18, regardless of you mother or father consenting.
But others only require you to be 15/16 with your parents permission.
Don't worry so much about piercings and more about staying in school. :) Your typing is horrid.

I was with my cousin down the shore once, and she was 17. She wanted to get her tongue pierced, but she needed a family member or guardian to sign a permission slip because she was underage. The tongue piercing didn't go all that well in the end... her tongue wouldn't stop bleeding! Well, good luck!

Most places require legal age unless you have parent with you who may sign consent form and even that will depend upon the palor where you have it done.
Be certain this is indeed what you want done, for like tatooing there is no going back.

Yes, the age is 18 but you can get it if you bring a parent/legal guardian.

in the US, you have to be at least 16 and have parental consent, otherwise it's 18. its actually very easy to find a parlor that'll pierce underage though, just look around.
