Re the above - there is no such singular thing as a British accent. There are MANY accents in Britain. If anyone thinks that BBC newsreaders are typical of Brit accents they are deluded.
I am British, originally from South Wales. My original accent is gone and I am now a 'mid-Atlantic', having lived in Canada for a while.
Personal favourites, though - Southern Irish, Sophia Loren-style Italian and Antonio Banderas or Penelope Cruz Spanish.
Also fascinated by the accent in the movie 'Fargo'. Where's that? Minnesota? Scandinavian influence. Interesting.

There's this movie called "If Only" with Jennifer Love Hewitt. The man there named Paul Nichols has the best accent I have ever heard of. He's incredibly gorgeous- he's British (I think). Also some Southern accent- depends where and who speaks it, I guess- is great too. To me, guys from TX have the cutest accent.

I like some of the African accents and Scottish. If I had to choose an American accent I like I would choose the Boston accent.

I have two very close neighbors. real good friends. One family is directly from China, the other from Slovakia. Talk about accents. I wish I could understand them better.
But anyway, I like the way the Australians talk.

African. I enjoy the accents of people who have moved from an African country to the US or the UK, etc. and speak English now. It just sounds so cool, and it forces you to listen to what they are saying.

I also like scottish and irish...so fun to listen to! I always wish that I could talk like them sometimes, because my native accent can sometimes seem rather bland and boring.
