how can you tell if your dog is at first stages of being pregnant?

is there a specific area i can listen for puppy heartbeats, or will she have a line splitting inbetween her teets, where can i tell the different between her heartbeat and the puppies heartbeats

When it came to my dogs I never could tell when they were pregnant. My one crave ice cubes so I know when she is. other than that I just wait it out. But they say the first week maybe she may have morning sickness or a personality change. ..Week four you may see a clear vaginal discharge on her fifth week you may see swelling will be more noticeable, weight starts to increase six weeks you will see the nipples darken and enlarge. on the eight week fetal movement can be detected when she is resting, milk may be squeezed from nipples. Week nine you will see her nesting soon you will have puppies. If things seem to be going normal let nature take it course..I know you want to know when she will have them or can't wait to know if she is going to have puppies..try not to put to much stress on the dog..Like I said I couldn't tell anything when my dogs were pregnant until the very end. Some show early and some like mine take for ever to show.
