It has quite a few meanings:

- Give him/her/it: Dale agua al gato = Give water to the cat
- Hit him/her/it: Dale a la pelota = Hit the ball
- Dale! = Ok, go ahead

it can mean many things depending on where you're from and what the context is.
for example: it can mean "give (something) to someone" as in: "dale el lapiz a marco" -- give the pencil to marco
it can also mean "hit (someone/thing)" as is: "dale!" -- "hit him/her/it"
some people also use it to ask someone to hurry up: "dale!!" -- "hurry up/get going etc"
if you're talking sex, it can also be used to "give it" (to someone)
if yaknowwhatimean
lol
and it's in the imperative
you pronounce it dahleh

yup. 'give it'. b/c 'da' is the command form of dar, which means 'to give'. and 'le' is like an object pronoun.
