You need to see a healthcare provider. If you came in my office I would test your B vitamin levels and tell you to take a B-complex vitamin. However, not seeing your tongue in person is a disadvantage for me. It could be thrush and I wouldn't know that untill I saw it. In the meantime, additional B vitamins can't hurt...you can't overdose on them. You just pee out the extra.

two thoughts- thrush it is a infection of the oral cavity- you must get a prescription from thr doctor. It usually has a fever and severe sore throat. Another thing may be your having an allegeric reaction to something. The last thing I know is that it can be associated in something with the brain but not likely. I'd see your regular medical MD and write down for him when it started, the differences in the tastes. If you stick your tongue out and it looks normall not bright red, or having a yellowish whitish coat he'll need t o check you out. Please go sooner rather than later. It is often a quicker recovery from either. Think about what you have been eating. Some people have such reactions when tomatoes come into season. Or fresh pineapple will do it. Leomode or orange juice. If you started sncking on something diferent like that you may simple have a acid burn so to speak and warm salt water will help. Stay away from all of those until you are better.

I am not sure what could be wrong with you, but have you burnt your mouth with some food recently? Perhaps you have burnt off your taste buds, but I think that this should be a problem in which you consult your doctor. Good luck

It is maybe a mental problem OR maybe you have been eating too much cold or too hot , too much sour foods cause your taste buds to feel the tastes of other foods different. Just drink PLENTY of water...
