WOW! 43 and never heard of a female condom!
Anyway, there are condoms for females, but they are hardly used, it's way more complicated than just putting something over the entire penis.

There is a female condom available, but it looks pretty awkward to use. If I'm the guy, I want to make sure of what I am using and that it is properly put on.

There's also a female condom, but from my understanding, they're not overly popular, as they're slightly less "bag and go"
