To me Yes, most digital camera only has limited memory and may only save 10 to 30 photos. With a memory card you can buy various sizes and save 1000s of photos on them. Also with a memory card you can use a card reader and use it on any computer without software.

If it is a digital camera then yes a memory card is needed but if the memory card is part of the camera then you don't need a memory card. Reading the manual is helpful for those type of questions.

Go get yourself a memory card or you'll have a very limited amount of pictures to take.

It allows you to hold and save far more pictures. It's also the most compatible with department store self service printing machines.

for me, YES.........because i like taking pictures and can choose a nice image to print.
