well they eat a pellet food, similar to the stuff rabbits eat. you also need to provide a guinea pig with fresh lettuce, carrots, celery, cucumber and various other fruits and veggies. I grew up with guinea pigs and ours LOVED apples! What we used to do is feed ours the carrot peelings, and apple peelings (i hated peel when I was a kid). that way when you have a snack so does piggy :) he will also need lots of fresh clean water everyday.

Apart from commercially prepared pelleted food, which incidentally is prepared with the nutritional needs as well as the mineral & vitamin requirments of the guinea pig in mind, this can be supplemented with green leafy vegetable, grass, vegetable & fruit peelings from the kitchen .

you merely shop offering mom with all the18% protein pellets (with nutrition C yet without seeds, nuts, crunchy bits or colored rubbish) sturdy grass or alfalfa hay, and water she needs as nicely as a reasonable volume of clean, dark leafy vegetables. she would be in a position to nurse the doggies and that they are going to start to eat sturdy nutrients interior some days We placed the bottle low sufficient that the doggies can attain yet you're able to be careful to no longer placed it so low that the sow has issues eating
