Meet 20 year olds.....seriously i just moved to a new city.......and want to hang out with new people but dont know were to begin.......and im a lil shy...what do you suggest????

Oh please no sign !!! :) Well, if you are in school you should not have a problem meeting people your own age. There maybe a local single group in your city, check into that. I would stay away from match.com or any of those sites ( just my humble opinion on that, someone could tell you anything and you certainly would not want to but yourself in a bad situation ) What are your interest ? Try going to places that interest you...........Never no, you may meet some great people with the same interest as you have ! If you have attended church in the past, maybe you may want to find a church to attend.
Don't worry about being shy, this to will some day pass.

Go to places where people tend to be social (online chat sites (of people in your area), clubs, libraries, parks..lol...etc) When you see someone you dont know, show kindness and friendliness towards people you dont know; spark a conversation with some random person you may see walking by...you'll be surprised at the reaction you may get. Also the practice will help you come out of that "shy" shell you are in now

Take a class at a local university or community college. Or take a book and sit in their cafeteria get a cup of something and read. Then take the opportunity to talk to people near you. You can say your new and checking out the campus. Volunteer at the local community theater or find a coffee shop near a campus and go very frequently. Good luck. People will find you and you will find them.

Try on-line dating. You can select your area, whether you're looking for a relationship or just friends... I met my wife on Match.com. It really works, and it's much better than a random encounter in a bar after 6 beers. Don't really know about the other online dating sites, but I imagine they're all about the same.

i would go to the places where a lot of people are, the mall, the gym, night clubs, and if ur in a small city u don have to spend a lot of money, just get a soda and sit in a restrant, get ur self out there

put a add in the local paper.......(friends wanted) lol j/k just get out to the local hot spots and mingle, youll find ppl youll hit it off with dont worry , good luck

if you see a group of people just go over there and say whats up and then they say hi and whats your name and stuff like that and then before you know it your friend with them.
