The Bible, the infallible, inerrant, indestructible divine Word of God, simply put is the all time most read, most given, most received, most given away for free and the most purchased book in the history of the planet. There isnt another book even close. It is the only book that declares the end from the beginning. We have also "more sure Word of prophecy" the apostle Peter says "prophecy came not by the will of man but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost"
History, archaeology and fulfilled prophecy all confirm it is the Word of God. I dare anyone to open this book with an open mind and taste and see that the Lord is good! Amen

Answer: The Bible (The Word of God) is the ONLY book in the ENTIRE WORLD that is ALIVE. When your eyes have been opened spiritually, you will understand what I mean.

ROTFLMAO! Some of the answers here are just hilarious. So, the bible is the only book in the UNIVERSE that will get you into Heaven? So what about the poor bugger stuck on a planet somewhere 100,000 light years from us that has never even heard of this book? Do Christians honestly believe that this is the only path to salvation (if there is even such a thing as salvation?). What about the hundreds of billions of beings in the Universe who were not visited by the all knowing being? You know, we were made in His likeness etc, so any other intelligent life is screwed! The narrow mindedness of this kind of thinking is totally mind boggling....all I can say is: SHAME!

Most people don't believe in fictional stories unless they're in the Bible.

It's a collection of 66 books written by dozens of authors over hundreds of years and it is without contradiction between the books despite all that. One would be hard-pressed to duplicate this with even just 10 books written by 10 writers living today.

Outdated and jam-packed with contradictions and, worse still, lies.
One cannot even treat it as a good story book, the plot is unbelievable, the characters are phony, there are no car chases - or even donkey chases - and it is boring.
Give me Patricia Cornwell (or similar) any time.
