I have 4 children ages 7,6,5 and 3, and Yes I feel that way all the time. I try to play with them, send them to play then they fight or one of them starts crying. I get nothing done. I guess its just life itself. Hopefully it gets better as they get older, but I highly doubt it..

Oh, honey! Boy do I ever know what you're going thru! I have a 4y/o, 2y/o, & 4m/o twins and I'm a SAHM. Just today, I called my husband crying, because my kids were out of control & I felt out of control. Like you, I have good days & bad. This was definately a BAD day. My 2y/o son (and only boy) slammed one of my pictures in my bdrm on floor and shattered it, took a whole stack of clean, folded laundry and scattered it all over the floor, decorated the tv with green beans, tried to shove a pair of nail clippers into one of the twin's mouth, got inside the bouncer with the other twin and almost squished her, and that's just what I can think of off the top of my head! I have given up on EVER having a clean house again! I would just be happy with a halfway decent looking house. I clean all week and have nothing to show for it. My poor husband deserves to have a clean home, he works a full time-plus job and we just opened a restaurant on weekends! Maybe some moms out there have some insight on how to take back the control? Pleeeeeeaaaasssse! Of course, at the end of the day when they are all sleeping peacefully or when they want to sit and cuddle with you, you always think, "I can handle this 'mommy' thing. Tomorrow will be a better day!" *sigh*

I totally understand. I am a stay at home mom to a 13 y/o daughter, and a 5y/o & 3 1/2 y/o sons. My daughter isn't too bad, she helps out, but my boys are little wild children sometimes. LOL But it's all good in the end. Sounds like you need to take some time for yourself, even if it's just a nice, long, hot bath after the kids have gone to bed. I wish you well hon.

Of course!! I am a single mother of a 12 month old. I work all day and then I come home and work some more. I feel worn out alot!! Then there's money issues but I won't go there. I have my own place and have been raising him on my own since day 1. It's hard but I love him so very much. He keeps me going. He is my reason for living!!
I don't think I want any more though.

Absolutely and I just have 1! Make sure you are eating right (take vitamins to make sure you are getting what you need). Give your kids attention when they are craving it, but all of them should be put down for a nap or quiet time so you can get a nap or get stuff done around the house. While you are starting to get this into place, you may not get much done, but you will once the routine is in place.

Frequently. You need time to get a chance to miss them. It will help you mentally getting a break, and then you will be better with them, and they respond in a better way when you're happy.
You know what they say: When Mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy:)
Get dad to give you a hand, take a day off, being a mom is the most demanding job there is.

Does anyone ever NOT feel this way????
Maybe you are younger than I am, but I have felt tired and worn down for the past 13+ years.
My evil secret? One night I booked a hotel and when my husband came home I walked out the door and said, I'll be back in the morning, honey! Then I went, soaked in the hot tub, had a drink at the bar, and then went to BED. BY MYSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
